Following the recent success of F&I Triathlete Jess Learmonth, the Foundation and The Car Loan Warehouse are delighted to announce the sponsorship of ten year old promising golfer, Joe Sykes.

Joe from Littlehampton in West Sussex was first introduced to golf by his Dad, Chris at the age of two and has been a keen golfer ever since, competing at St Andrews in 2014 and more recently qualifying for the US Kids World Championship at Pinehurst, USA.

Having gone from strength to strength throughout his short career, Joe is said to be thrilled with the opportunity to further progress and make his dreams come true. Joe’s Dad, Chris Sykes, said “The F&I Foundation sponsorship means Joe now has the ability to reach his full potential, getting this support at such an early stage in his career means Joe can really develop as a golfer and compete in some of the most well-known competitions for his age group. I would like to thank the F&I Foundation for this fantastic opportunity for my son”.

Jon Le Roux, Director at the Car Loan Warehouse has commented on the sponsorship and said “As an ex-professional golfer, I know the obstacles that can appear when you’re trying to progress. Using my contacts in the golfing industry and partnering with the F&I Foundation I believe, together, we can advance Joe to levels that were not previously possible”.

The sponsorship by the F&I Foundation along with the help of the Car Loan Warehouse, will allow Joe to participate in many more competitions than he would have been otherwise able to, with the money going towards competition entry fees, travel expenses and accommodation during competitions. Joe will also benefit from golf equipment from brands such as Taylor-Made and Titleist.

Andy Shuter, Founder of the F&I Foundation, has said “We’re really excited to welcome a new addition to the Foundation team! Joe has shown great passion and commitment to the sport and we’re looking forward to helping him become the best he can be. At ten years old, I think we can see the next big sports star in the making.”

The F&I Foundation are very proud to be lending our support to all our talented young athletes, and wish them all the best in their careers.
